Hello! I am looking to get in touch with Alice Perritt. I received your name from Wendy Maruyama who thought you might be able to help me find someone who could build a crate for one of Wendy's artworks scheduled to be in an exhibition here in Southern California opening Jan. 11, 2019.The piece is currently part of the Porter/Price Collection located in Columbia, SC. Please contact me ASAP to discuss.

Thank you,

About Me

I enjoy woodworking and work with many exotic woods.  I started making coffins and urns for animals some years ago, and have ended making more urns for humans than I have for animals.  Some of my urns are in homes, grave sites (buried in coffins), and mausoleums.  I make coffins mainly for dogs - both big and small.

About Me

i am an electrica engineer that grew up in Florida but i've lived in Columbia since graduating from college. I own a software company in downtown columbia. Woodworking is my hobby and most of my time has been spent doing anything but "fine woodworking". I'm doing more "fine carpentry" -- building cabinets. So my skills are all in the area of power tools but i'd really like to get adept at hand tools.

I'd really enjoy meeting others that are hands on that i can learn from. I live on the Broad River off I26 exit 97

About Me

I have enjoyed woodworking as a hobby since I was a boy helping my grandfather in West Virginia.  My interests are general with most of my activities devoted to practical construction projects.  I always enjoy reading about and learning new woodworking techniques and skills.

About Me

I was Curator of Birds at Riverbanks Zoological Park and Gardens for 33 years.  I retired in 2006, and have been working on my "Bucket List" ever since.  I've never looked back, nor been bored for one second since.  I like to make period furniture reproductions, particularly Federal (inlaid) pieces.  I like the challenge of learning how to master new woodworking techniques, so I have never made the same piece twice.   I am probably the world's slowest woodworker, but I take my time and enjoy learning new processes.  The Chippendale mahogany secretary which I just finished (March 2014) was under construction for 2 1/2 years off-and-on.  I will never make another one.

About Me

I'm a self taught woodworker that's been producing random objects for around 10 years.  Most notable would be the early bonfire material, followed by the productions that "Ain't coming in this house." (btw - my crib DID make it into the house)

After reading numerous magazines, honing my skills and taking a year or so off to raise some girls, I now make whatever my wife tells me to.  Recently that has meant end tables, wall clocks, pens, bowls and numerous cutting boards. Basically gifts for everyone we know.   Ironically, I have never sold a piece of woodcraft in my life, but since I tell everyone that there is a warranty, I've gotten a few back to adjust.

Besides woodworking, I'm content reading to my daughters, playing princesses, practicing the 2nd amendment and riding a bicycle.  Just not all at the same time.
